Summary

The HR Business Partner is responsible for coordination and implementation of human resources activities for his/her assigned Client Groups. The HRPB will lead managers, supervisors, and employees with the execution of HR programs, policies, and procedures to enhance the work environment, minimize risk, and achieve business results. He/she will proactively translate the departments' business strategies into HR solutions that best enable the teams to meet their departmental objectives.

Responsibilities
Provide HR partnership and day-to-day HR support for assigned client groups.
Partner with managers to retain, develop, and motivate employees to achieve department goals.
Provide ongoing support to the managers on human resources related matters, policies, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies and governmental laws and regulations.
Provides guidance on performance management issues through coaching and training of managers.
Promptly reviews, investigates where appropriate and makes recommendations regarding employee relations matters in assigned business groups by applying HR best practices for performance management and mitigating potential risk.
Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding process.
Oversee and handles the roll-out/implementation of business and company-wide initiatives, including communication, learning materials and training.
Manage recruiting activities from candidate sourcing, initial screening, interview scheduling, follow-up, background checks, and coordinating offers.
Reviewing talent opportunities and performance gaps; participating in talent planning, talent reviews, talent development, and succession planning for assigned business groups.
Primary interface for coordinating medical leaves and administrative processes.
Handle workers' compensation claims from initial reporting to claims management. Coordinate return to work effort between HR, employee, hiring manager, and workers' compensation insurance carrier.
Works closely and partnering with other HR team members and offers support as needed
Analyzes and reviews relevant HR related data and offers recommendations for improvement and/or areas of focus for assigned client group(s).
Conducts employee surveys to review for trends and makes recommendations to management.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or business related field.
Predominantly in-office position with flexible scheduling
SPHR or other HR Certification is preferred.
5 years of related experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift to 25 pounds
