ConsumerTrack is looking for an inquisitive and detail-oriented professional to own all HR & Compliance responsibilities for a team that is growing and expanding across the U.S. The ideal candidate strives to improve system efficiency, provide support to employees by researching and resolving problems, and ensure our systems are accurate and the company is compliant with all labor laws and regulations.

How will you make an impact?

  • Design and implement company policies and benefits packages for a nationwide workforce
  • Facilitate pre-onboarding tasks like packaging onboarding material for new hires, I-9 verification, E-verify, benefits enrollment, and providing technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to all HR tools users
  • Facilitate offboarding tasks like processing final checks and separation agreements and ensuring access is removed from all platforms in a timely manner
  • Manage permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for all HR platforms, including the company's ATS (applicant tracking system)
  • Build workflows and PowerPoint decks for training purposes
  • Monitor, audit, and administer HRIS database integrity and security
  • Own all payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and compliant with government regulations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws, and best practices
  • Facilitate audits and support Finance with reconciliations and reporting
  • Administer the employment sponsorship process by adhering to processes administered by the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), as well as the U.S. Department of Labor
  • Administer workers' compensation and leaves of absence requests, including our paid maternity and paternity leave programs
  • Respond to verification of employment requests and EDD notifications
  • Collaborate with other HR professionals on improving our efficiency and our overall culture of working smarter, not harder
  • Analyze relevant HR data, identify trends and advise the VP of HR on relevant insights
    Requirements

    What do you bring to us?
    • 3+ years of proven work experience in a Human Resources role
    • Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of systems such as ADP- TotalSource, Greenhouse, and Confluence
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Critical thinking to create innovative solutions to complicated problems
    • Project management abilities- owning multiple projects from end to end
    • Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees
    • Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly
    • Good knowledge of labor laws, payroll & 401K compliance
    • Good understanding of employment sponsorship process
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Business Management is a plus
    • **Must be open to a hybrid WFH/In-office work setting. Our main HQ is in El Segundo, CA.
