Job Description:

The Customer Service Representative -will serve as the main point of contact for our company to the local community as a service provider for the Federal Lifeline Program. The position will focus on the coordination and execution of community outreach events to increase the awareness of the program as well as enroll eligible benefit recipients. -The -Customer Service Representative -Team champions initiatives for the greater good through impactful promotional strategies and events. The ultimate goal of the program is to assist underprivileged community members in obtaining basic communication tools to improve the quality of life and seek impactful alternatives for low-income families to increase their socio-economic standing and provide overall job security. -Customer Service Representative -Responsibilities:

Greet and assist community members in the enrollment of the government assistance program by verifying eligibility and completing all necessary documentationCreate, distribute, and collect records of program participants, new enrollments and service areasMaintain up-to-date and accurate records of community participation in programs and demographic data for outreach impactAttend community outreach and program enrollment training as required by funders and/or division leadershipUnderstand program goals, monitor progress towards meeting these goals, and communicate this progress to program leadership on a regular basisProvide general assistance to the members of the divisionEnsure participant files contain all necessary and up-to-date participation documentationAssist in day to day operations of the division/program as neededPerform all other related duties as assigned by operational management -Customer Service Representative -Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentAttention to detail and commitment to the program initiativesStrong Problem-solving abilitiesComfortable taking initiative to learn the basics of the program, determine and generate corresponding outreach events and enrollments, and share findings on an on-going basisA courteous and pleasant manner for quality customer service to those in needExcellent customer service and organization skillsSound judgment and commitment to ensuring the confidentiality of the participant's recordsCommitment to full-time schedule and punctualityExperience working with a non-profit agency/organization is a plusPowered by JazzHR
