Job Description:

*Food server*

Currently seeking passionate, enthusiastic and purpose driven leaders to deliver artful hospitality as a lead server. At least 3 years experience, serving in a high volume upscale concept. Strong cocktail, wine and craft beer knowledge is a must. This is a lead position that will be responsible to insure service standards, stocking inventory and over all service on the dining room floor. Training of server staff and scheduling accordingly to the restaurant needs

*The right candidate: *

Previous experience in a similar roles, upscale dining seafood fine wine, craft cocktals.

Passionate about hospitality and working in a team environment

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and highly ethical. Stands for teamwork and isn't afraid to jump in to help others out

Thrives in high-pressure situations

Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays

Loves spreading positivity to their surroundings!

Enjoys learning new processes or tasks and does not mind taking direction.
Ability to think quick on their feet and multi-task, maintain poise and a sense of humor amidst a fast paced and demanding environment

*Job Requirements*

At least 3 years of experience in a server role. Previous experience in luxury hospitality industry will be prioritized

Professional appearance and grooming

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Guest-oriented approach and solutions-oriented attitude

Team-working

Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which included, evenings, weekends and holidays

Certification of Food Handlers card.

*Lead server responsibilities*

Make guests feel comfortable and enhance guest experience

Inform guests of specials and menu changes

Be knowledgeable of menu and make recommendations

Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter into point-of-sale

Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter

Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as assigned by immediate supervisor

Maintain clean service areas

Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests

Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable)

Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise

Be ready and willing to assist bussers with clearing and resetting tables

Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return

Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the floor manager or immediate supervisor

Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time

Be able to lift & carry trays

Be available to work holidays and weekends

Job Type: Part-time
