Western Regional Switchgear Sales Manager Location: Will work from a home office within the western territory. US States in the western territory include WA, OR, ID, MT, CA, NV, UT, AZ, NM. Compensation: Commensurate with experience and is a combination of salary and sales incentive bonus potential. Opportunity Summary: Growing and financially strong privately held company in the power distribution industry is seeking to hire a Western Regional Switchgear Sales Manager who will be accountable for leading and directing all Utility/Industrial sales channels to achieve revenue growth targets and will have overall responsibility for the promotion and sale of assigned products and services to current and potential customers in assigned territory. Sales channels may include direct accounts, sales representative agencies, and distribution. The company is know for their strong expertise in power distribution and is a leader in the engineered-to-order medium and low voltage switchgear market. Key Responsibilities: Manage and support sales representative agencies in assigned territory via joint sales calls, presentations, training, opportunity tracking, order history, etc. Partner with end-user direct accounts to generate new and repeat sales of company products and services. Identify, track, negotiate, and close opportunities through all potential sales channels, including direct accounts, sales representative agencies, and distribution. Deliver company and product presentations at customer sites, conferences and exhibitions. Prepare yearly detailed Sales Plan to identify target customers and opportunities, hurdles to success, etc. Revisit and update plan on quarterly basis with supervisor and other stake holders. Prepare and maintain a variety of sales reports, forecasts, etc. as requested by supervisor and other company management. Participate in events such as seminars and trade shows.
