Medical Laboratory Technician Location: Mission Viejo, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,322 per week Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/21/2026 About the Position Job Title: Clinical Lab Scientist Profession: Laboratory Specialty: Clinical Lab Scientist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours (4:00 PM - 12:30 AM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: California State License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Strong blood bank experience Experience in hematology, chemistry, and/or blood bank Ability to float between locations Description: The role requires strong blood bank experience. This is a trauma facility with a significant number of massive transfusions. Candidates should have experience with various laboratory procedures, including but not limited to: ABO/Rh/Antibody screen & ID. AHG Crossmatch. Antibody Typing: Tube Method. Antigen Typing. Direct Coombs Test (DAT). Transfusion Reaction Workup. And more specialized skills in laboratory settings. Candidates may be scheduled between multiple locations. Weekend shifts may exceed every other weekend to meet departmental needs. Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered. References are required. All personnel are expected to be flexible and may float between facilities within a given area as necessary. Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays.
