working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Los
Angeles, California, 90033! Job Title: Registered Nurse, Special
Procedures Profession: RN Specialty: Special Procedures Duration:
13 weeks Shift: Variable Shift - M-F start 7am, 8am, or 9am
(Staggered shifts) Hours per Shift: To be determined Experience:
Minimum years of experience not specified, preferred experience in
critical care or medical-surgical or Cardiac Cath Lab/Special
Procedure department License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification:
Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required Advanced
Electrocardiogram (EKG) certification: Preferred Must-Have:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Experience in critical
care or medical-surgical or Cardiac Cath Lab/Special Procedure
department preferred Ability to collect relevant data pertinent to
patient health or situation Ability to analyze assessment data in
determining diagnosis and care issues Capability to develop a care
plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes Description:
Observes, evaluates, and coordinates the care given to patients in
the Special Procedures department. Participates in direct and
indirect care of all related activities according to policies,
procedures, philosophy, and mission of the organization. Collects
relevant data pertinent to patients' health or situation. Analyzes
assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues. Develops
a plan that prescribes interventions to attain desired outcomes.
Implements the care plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs
strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates
progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the
patient or the patient’s situation. Connects electrocardiogram
(EKG) leads and alerts the physician of any changes in patient
condition. Records and analyzes hemodynamic parameters and
calculates shunt and valves and other data. Monitors patients,
analyzes electrocardiograms (EKG) and hemodynamic parameters, and
reports any changes in patients' conditions. Operates computerized
systems with accuracy and evaluates and reports significant data
and findings throughout all procedures for patients of various age
groups. Operates specialized equipment effectively and safely.
Collaborates with the patient, family, and healthcare providers in
providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring
environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients and
family members and team members. Directly provides health
information to patients, families, and treatment team. Performs
other job-related duties as assigned. Client is committed to the
