A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) opportunity is available at an elementary school in Los Angeles, CA. This contract position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, with work hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 12, 2026. This role involves supporting an elementary caseload at the school site, providing hands-on occupational therapy assistance to help students achieve their educational and developmental goals. The position requires working onsite and collaborating closely with the school team to deliver individualized care. Key qualifications and requirements: Current active California license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Proven experience in a school-based setting, preferably working with elementary-aged students Ability to manage an elementary school caseload effectively Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with educators and other professionals Availability for a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process Responsibilities include: Assisting in the implementation of occupational therapy programs and interventions tailored to student needs Monitoring student progress and documenting outcomes Participating in team meetings and contributing to individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintaining compliance with school policies and regulatory standards This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's academic and functional success within a supportive school environment.
