(OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
(COTA) license, and 1 years Certified Occupational Therapy
Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available
for a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to
support elementary-aged students in a school setting. This contract
position is based in Van Nuys, CA, with a caseload focused
exclusively on elementary students. The role offers a structured
Monday through Friday schedule, working onsite from 8:00 AM to 3:30
PM. Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to
elementary students with diverse needs. Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans to support student growth.
Collaborate closely with school staff and families to promote
student success. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in
compliance with school and regulatory guidelines. Participate in
team meetings and contribute to the school's therapeutic
environment. Qualifications: Active Certified Occupational Therapy
Assistant license in California is required. Previous experience in
a school-based occupational therapy setting is essential. Strong
interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students,
educators, and families. Ability to manage an elementary caseload
independently and efficiently. Reliable and punctual with a
commitment to onsite work. Details: Position Type: Full-time,
Contract Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM Contract
Duration: Immediate start through June 12, 2026 Location: Van Nuys,
CA Candidates will participate in an initial interview conducted
