Balance Health is looking for a Podiatrist to join our team at our University Foot & Ankle brand in the Santa Monica Area. Based in Santa Monica, we have 6 convenient locations throughout Los Angeles County. (Only qualified candidates will be considered and/or contacted.)Visit our website at: https://balancehealth.com PLEASE, NO EMAILS, PHONE CALLS OR RECRUITERS / STAFFING AGENCIES Requirements: Requirements - Ability to observe, assess and record symptoms, reactions, and progress - Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care - Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities - Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions - Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse patient, colleague, and vendor population - Be proficient with computers, and have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, EMR database Education and Experience - Minimum of three (3) years professional experience preferred - Current License as a Podiatrist in the State of California - Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an Accredited School of Podiatry - Completion of an accredited podiatric residency program Physical Requirements - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, with frequent lifting/and or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds. - Ability to sit and stand for up to several hours at a time - Ability to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies. - Must be able to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues. - Ability to use hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
