Job Description Staff Today is seeking a local contract nurse
Correctional for a local contract nursing job in Los Angeles,
California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:
Correctional - Discipline: RN - Duration: 16 weeks - 40 hours per
week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract RN-
Registered Nurse: Corrections - Shift Hour: 8- Hours - Shift Hours
per week: 40-Hours - Shift: Days, Weekends and Holidays - Length of
Assignment: 16-Weeks - Nursing Specialty: RN- Correctional - Hourly
Rate $76.00 - Mandatory Certification All required prior to
assignment start date Assignment Information: DHS/LA
County-Correctional Health Services is currently in need of highly
skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) with a minimum of one (1) year
experience as a Correctional Registered Nurse in-patient
experience, preferably with a background in working with adult
inmate patients who are incarcerated. Individuals should be
comfortable working in a locked forensic environment with frequent
interactions with law enforcement. RN will be providing
professional nursing care to adult inmate patients in Correctional
Health Facilities which include the Century Regional Detention
Facility, Twin Towers Correctional Facility and Men’s Central Jail.
Required Certifications include:/nActive Registered Nurse license,
AHA BLS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA
City), and completion of the LA County Employee Health Clearance
