Details - Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department performing PET/CT and CT diagnostic imaging with contrast - Day shift, Monday through Friday with varied start times between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM - 5x8-hour shifts, no call or weekend requirements - Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including support to multiple sites such as Westwood, Santa Monica, Encino, and Santa Clarita as directed by the chief technologist Requirements - Dual licensure in Nuclear Medicine and CT is required; X-ray licensure is also acceptable as the dual credential — this is critical for consideration - BLS certification (AHA) required - Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine/PET-CT experience preferred - License required if applicable - Must be able to perform PET/CT and CT diagnostic imaging with contrast - Must be able to work with patients of all ages Additional Information - Perform PET/CT and CT diagnostic imaging with contrast, utilizing radioactive materials and X-rays for diagnostic evaluation of anatomic and physiologic conditions - Role may also include therapeutic treatment with unsealed radioactive sources under the direction of a licensed authorized user or designee - At least one prior travel assignment is required for consideration - Royal blue scrubs required American Traveler Job ID P-678475.
