As a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will monitor critically ill patients, manage ventilators and infusions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver family-centered care. You must have an active California RN license, recent PICU experience, and Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and experience with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) or high-frequency ventilation are highly valued. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is required. Recommended skills include strong critical thinking, proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring, and the ability to remain calm in high-acuity situations.
