yourself! The Lead Principal Radiologic Technologist/n(LPRT),
supervised by the General Diagnostic Manager and Medical
Director,/noperates radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic
images following/nprescribed protocols and procedures. As the LPRT
you will demonstrate/nproficiency in conducting procedures on
patients across all age groups,/nensuring timely completion of
studies with adherence to quality standards./nMoreover, it is
expected that you educate patients, assist in sterile
technique/nprocedures and uphold patient confidentiality throughout
the examination/nprocess. Additionally, proficiency in enhanced
fluoroscopic duties in areas/nsuch as GI and GU arenas,
Angiography, or Pediatric Diagnostics is an integral/naspect of
this position. Training for this role is required. The/ntraining
will be variable days and shifts Monday through Friday. The
training/nwill primarily occur in our Westwood Hospital area as
needed at Santa Monica/nand MLK Imaging areas. The training at
those areas may take at least 3 months./nThe duration of training
and days of the training will be at the discretion of/nyour Direct
Supervisor. The LPRT/nis expected to support UCLA healthcare
radiology locations in the Westwood and/nSanta Monica region.
Support/nat all radiology sites staffed by UCLA Health is required.
All Radiologic/nTechnologists need to possess the skills, knowledge
and abilities essential to/nthe successful performance of duties
assigned to the position; graduate of a/nRadiologic Technology
Training Program approved by the American Medical/nAssociation or
equivalent training, maintaining current CRT, CRT – Fluoro
and/nARRT licensure. Salary:/n$58.74 - $77.50 Hourly Qualifications

certification/n– required - CRT license –/nrequired - Fluoroscopic
permit/n– required - BCLS certificate/nfrom American Heart
Association or American Red Cross– required - Completion
of/nminimum 2 years’ experience in General Diagnostic environment –
preferred - Specialized in more/nthan two areas above and Special
Fluoroscopic Procedures/C-Arms – preferred - Ability to
precept/nNew Hires and Students - Accredited/nRadiologic
Technologist Program graduate – required - Ability to adapt
to/nadvancement and changing technology - Knowledge of/nmedical
terminology, with ability to distinguish between types of
procedures/nwithin the assigned department(s) and medical diagnoses
- Skill in employing/nindependent decision making while performing
various job functions - Telephone manners/nand skills to handle
heavy telephone lines with courtesy and tact - Understand
the/nrequirements of the EMTALA (Emergency Medical Treatment and
Active Labor Act) /n
