Job Description:
Job Description End of Life Veterinarian (Full-Time or
Part-Time) Hiring for LA Arts District, Orange County & San
Fernando Valley , with 2, 3 and 4 days/week positions available. At
Honor Pet, we're doing death differently, and we've created
something that hasn't been done before: a fully integrated
end-of-life center with in-home and in-center euthanasia services,
aftercare, memorial services, and grief support all under one roof.
This career is designed for veterinarians who want to slow down and
practice thoughtful medicine with a team that supports them. And
for those who are interested in helping shape what we become,
there's also potential for equity and leadership roles (Medical
Director positions). THE ROLE - Open for 5 appointments per day
(generally 9am, 11, 1, 3, 5pm with flexibility) - Salary of $100K
for 3 days and $135K for 4 days; your income stays consistent
regardless of how many appointments get scheduled (on most days, 3
to 4 appointments are scheduled) - You'll work alongside another
full-time veterinarian, coordinating schedules to ensure coverage
while maintaining flexibility for your lives - Our own crematorium
means you have flexibility with your route and schedule at the end
of each day BENEFITS - Medical, dental, and vision insurance -
Other insurance add-ons (SDS, LTD, life, etc) - 401(k) - $2K CE
allowance yearly - License and professional dues covered - Company
vehicle provided and/or mileage reimbursement - 1 week paid time
off for CE plus - 2 weeks paid time off that grows with tenure and
with no negative accrual (3 weeks in years two through four, and 4
weeks after five years) WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR - Mobile euthanasia
experience is a plus, but not required. What matters most is how
you show up, how you communicate, and how you care (training and
support in our protocols and approach to end-of-life care are
provided) - Licensed veterinarian in California with a current DEA
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the service
area - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs If this sounds like the change
you've been looking for, I'd love to chat. shea.cox@honor.pet
