Job Description Company Description California Neurosurgical Institute is a private practice group based in San Fernando Valley in Santa Clarita Valley. We provide elective and emergency neurosurgical care for these communities. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Physician Assistant based in Los Angeles, CA. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, performing physical exams, documenting medical histories, developing treatment plans, and providing post-operative care. Responsibilities also include rounding at the hospital, assisting in surgery, evaluating patients in outpatient clinic setting, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care. The role requires a commitment to delivering compassionate and high-quality care to patients with neurosurgical conditions. Qualifications Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnosis, and developing treatment plans Experience with surgical assistance and post-operative care, preferably in neurosurgery Ability to order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging Strong communication and team collaboration skills Current Physician Assistant certification and active California PA license Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a surgical or neurosurgical setting A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related program Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
