PRN (Days) Employment Type: Contract – PRN Location: Panorama City,
California Start Date: ASAP Orientation: ASAP (credentialing may
take up to 2 weeks) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced
Registered Nurse to join the Direct Observation Unit (DOU) on a PRN
basis. This is an ongoing contract where shifts are scheduled in
advance, and availability is reassessed every 4 weeks to ensure
active participation. Candidates must be dependable, collaborative,
and committed to providing exceptional patient care. Contract
Details - Length: Ongoing (6 months possible) - Schedule: 12 hours
per week minimum - Shift: Days (12-hour shifts) - Commitment: Must
work at least 1 shift per week - Scheduling: - Shifts are
pre-booked in advance (traveler-style scheduling) - Monthly
availability must be submitted in advance - Facility may cancel
shifts with at least 2 hours’ notice - On Call: None - Float: May
be asked to float within scope of practice Requirements -
Licensure: Active California RN License (expired licenses must be
renewed; applicants in process should contact the senator’s office
for expedited handling) - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS -
Experience: - Minimum 2 years RN experience - At least 1 year of
DOU experience - Preferred: Travel nursing background (not
required) Facility & Role Details - Unit: Direct Observation Unit
(DOU) - Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics -
Facility Size: 218 beds - Scrubs: Royal Blue or Navy Blue - PPE:
Fully provided; fit testing available on-site - Parking: Available
on-site - EMR: Epic (facility-specific version) - Pay Cycle: Weekly
(Sunday–Saturday) COVID-19 Policy - COVID-19 vaccination and
