Opportunity Details Medicus is collaborating with a medical center in southern California that has an opportunity for a skilled Hematologist Oncologist to assist with locum coverage. About the Opportunity: Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30a-5:30p Call: Weeknight and 24-hour weekend call shifts Setting: Outpatient chemotherapy and infusion center Patient Volume: 15-21 per day, split between MD and NP Duties: All aspects of diagnosis, staging, precision medicine, symptom management, and treatment of hematology oncology patients Infusion Center Services: Chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood/platelet transfusions, hormone therapy, antibiotic therapy, rheumatoid arthritis injections, and therapeutic phlebotomies Support Staff: NP, RNs, MAs, front office clerks EMR: iKnowMed and Cerner Must be board-certified or board-eligible Paid travel & expenses During your time off, relax on wide sandy beaches, bike along oceanfront trails, and sample local cuisine at nearby restaurants and food markets.
