About The Position We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 4-day locum tenens assignment in California starting Nov 26, 2025. This role features 24-hour call coverage, with shifts from 7am-7am, and includes both in-house and out-of-house coverage for sporadic vacation relief. Job Details - Location: California - Start Date: Nov 26, 2025 - LOA: 4 days - Provider Type Needed: Obstetrician/Gynecologist - Schedule: 24-hour call, 7am-7am; out-of-house call with 15-30 minute response time; additional OB physician on call during assignment Responsibilities and Duties - Respond promptly to call backs for deliveries and urgent cases - Conduct patient consults and rounding - Provide out-of-house call coverage within the required response window - Manage a high-volume obstetrics setting - Collaborate with on-site OB team to ensure patient safety and continuity of care Additional Information - California medical license required - Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required - Experience in a rural setting is preferred Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
