About The Position We are seeking an experienced Pediatrician for a 32-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Feb 2, 2026. This position involves two outpatient clinic days per week, 7:30am to 5:00pm, providing care in a family practice setting. The ideal candidate is comfortable with pediatric cases from newborns to age 18. Spanish-speaking ability is preferred but not required. Job Details - Location: California - Facility Type: Outpatient Intergenerational Health Center - Start Date: Feb 2, 2026 - LOA: 32 days - Provider Type Needed: Pediatrician - Schedule: 2 days per week, 7:30am-5:00pm Responsibilities and Duties - Oversee patient care for 20-25 pediatric cases (ages 0-18) per 8-hour shift - Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric services in a family practice environment - Deliver care for infants, newborns, children, and adolescents - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an intergenerational health center - Utilize Athenahealth EMR for documentation and patient management Additional Information - Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required - California medical license and Family Medicine board certification required - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Spanish language skills preferred, not required - Full contract commitment needed for consideration Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
