    • The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience.
    • Hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIH and CA License.
    • Must have 2 years of experience working in ICU, prior travel experience is preferred.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts: 12 hr shifts 0645-1915, 1845-0715.
      • Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts on unit.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: ICU.
        • # beds: 24 beds.
        • Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2.
        • Charge Nurse: yes - they do not take a patient assignment.
        • Nurse Aides: No.
        • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
        • Holidays: Yes 1 major, one minor for both winter and summer holidays.
        • Scrub Color: Navy.
        • Tele/Monitor Techs: 24 hardwire/8 hardwire overflow, RN's must read and interpret strips, they do not have a monitor tech.
        • Drips: neosynephrine, levophed, vasopressin, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutamine, etc.
        • Vents: Yes.
        • Floating: They will have to float to tele (1 to 4).
        • Common diagnosis/Types of patients: Trauma, MVC, post cath, post CABG(no travelers), sepsis, resp failure, No CRRT, stents - yes, balloon pumps - no, crani's, ventrics - no travelers, travelers must have experience with doing neuro assessments, ICP monitoring no, must have trauma experience.

          • ACLS, BLS, COVID Vaccine Required, NIHSS.
          • **10/15 Start Date ONLY**.
          • Looking for general medical surgical ICU experience.
          • Every other weekend.
          • Yes 1 major, one minor for both winter and summer holidays.
