Summary: RN - Trauma Quality Coordinator at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center
Lead quality improvement processes for trauma patients, monitor performance, and develop injury prevention activities in a Level II Trauma Center.
The Providence Holy Cross Trauma Center is a Level II Trauma Center, providing immediate care to critically injured patients 24/7. Our team of surgeons, nurses, and healthcare professionals are trained to give top-notch care.

• 
  
• Lead quality improvement processes for trauma patients, including chart reviews, quality indicators, analysis, and reporting.
  
• Monitor and coordinate all aspects of the Trauma Service Performance Improvement and Patient Safety program.
  
• Develop and implement injury prevention activities based on local epidemiological data and Providence Holy Cross trauma population.
  
• Assist in the coordination and delivery of trauma education for clinicians involved in trauma patient care.
  
• Assist in the coordination of trauma care for patients throughout their hospitalization.

  Required Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
    
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
    
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
    
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months of hire.
    
  • Three years of experience in trauma, emergency, or critical care.
    
    Preferred Qualifications:
    
    • 
      
    • ICD-10, Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) scoring course.
      
    • American Trauma Society Basic Trauma Registrar course.
      
    • Recent experience in Emergency, Critical Care, or Trauma nursing.
      
    • Experience with collector software and the State Trauma Registry.
      
    • Experience with chart audits.
