• Certification Details
• - Certifications required: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, NIH Stroke Certification
• - Candidates must possess experience with Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring
• - LA Fire Card (must be obtained within 30 days of starting)
  • Job Details
  • - 2 year recent exp in specialty
  • - Float to less or like specialties where needed and qualified
  • - floating to Stepdown / PCU is required patient ratio is 1:3
  • - EPIC experience (no training provided)
  • - Units info: MICU, SICU, Cardiac, PCU, STEPDOWN and Neuro
  • - Cardiovascular, Multi-trauma, Gun Shots, Stroke and Stemi Center, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Ortho
  • - Level 2 Trauma, Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center with high acuity neuro population, STEMI receiving, CABG/Valve/IABP, CRRT, Sepsis, Surgical
  • - Lines, intubations. Travelers will not be required to assist with ICP monitoring or placement, IABP, Conscious sedation, GI Procedures, Chest Tube Insertions
  • - Cardiac and GI procedures at the bedside if unstable
  • - Magnet Facility
  • - High acuity, fast-paced environment. Part of the team, do not float first. Float in rotation with all team members
  • - Alaris pumps, Roche meters, Bedside monitoring Philips, Vents, Suction, Drains, Chest Tubes
  • - There are no orientations for this position, please make sure candidates are comfortable working.

      • - 12-hour shifts
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit details: MICU, SICU, Cardiac, PCU, STEPDOWN, and Neuro
        • Cardiovascular, Multi-trauma, Gun Shots, Stroke and Stemi Center, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Ortho
        • 12 Overflow beds
        • High acuity neuro population, STEMI receiving, CABG/Valve/IABP, CRRT, Sepsis, Surgical
        • L&D specifics: Lines, intubations. Travelers will not be required to assist with ICP monitoring or placement, IABP, Conscious sedation, GI Procedures, Chest Tube Insertions

          • Additional Details
          • - Candidate is responsible for completing up to 10 hours of Providence and specialty specific modules, independently before candidate will be cleared to work. Modules include RN/LVN specific courses.
