Overview
Position Summary: The Clinical Practice Leader is a clinician with
an expert knowledge base, complex decision-making skills, and
clinical competencies. The Clinical Practice Leader has primary
responsibility for providing clinical expertise and practice,
education and quality improvement in their assigned department or
specialty. The Clinical Practice Leader will work in conjunction
with the leadership team of their department/specialty. The
Clinical Practice Leader will actively participate with
interprofessional teams in the development of policies and
procedures, patient care protocols, and standards of practice and
education. The Clinical Practice Leader will also demonstrate
commitment to staff and patient and family -focused model of
care.
Minimum Qualifications: 3- 5 years clinical experience, teaching,
quality improvement experience in a healthcare environment.
Pediatric experience required.
Education/Licensure/Certifications: Nursing: Master's degree
required; Doctoral degree preferred. Respiratory: Bachelors or
Master's degree preferred. Current California licensure in
respective discipline required. Current BLS & PALS Provider Card
Required. Specialty Related Certification Required.
Pay Scale Information
USD $84,656.00 - USD $152,505.60
CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our
organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's
starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but
not limited to education and experience within the job or the
industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for
candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements
listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be
determined for those candidates that exceed these specified
qualifications and requirements. We provide a competitive
