We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant to join our medical practice full time in Los Angeles, CA (Century City). We are seeking a PA who is interested in working in health optimization, longevity, and hormone replacement medicine.
Our ideal candidate exceeds expectations of interpersonal and communication skills among team members and patients, can work independently within scope of practice and as a team player, and possesses self-initiative, creativity, and motivation. The provider must be able to collaborate with all members of the team, manage their time effectively, and complete all tasks as assigned.
As well as providing safe and effective medical care to patients within their scope of practice, the provide must provide direction and supervision to the registered nurses, health coaches, and health staff and assure a well-controlled, clean environment for patient care. The PA will act as a liaison between nursing staff/health coaches and the medical director and analyze, evaluate, and implement nursing and medical services to promote continuous quality improvement.

Duties:

• 
  
• Patient evaluation/consultation and assessment (medical health history, exam, review pertinent medical records/labs/results, physical and emotional status)
  
• Orders tests and diagnostics and lab interpretation
  
• Lab specimen processing supervision
  
• Repeat and routine testing as required to help meet patient objectives
  
• Creates health optimizations/preventative health care plans,
  
• Educates patients about treatment recommendations, other services /treatments offered, pre and post treatment expectations and instructions
  
• Supervises, collaborates, and delegates responsibilities to nursing staff- offering guidance, interventions, recommendations, and direction
  
• Always maintains accountability and responsibility for all nursing care and related patient care issues
  
• Ensure appropriate patient flow and schedule maintenance
  
• Safe, quality sterile administration of IV therapy, lab draws, IM therapy, insert hormone pellets, stem cell treatments, NAD oversight and administration, biological product administration, and all cellular therapies. Performs intravenous infusions, injections, and treatments under Medical Director
  
• Prescribe standard medications to patients per policy and procedures within our medical recommendations of longevity and wellness, referring to outside physicians and higher-level work up when needed
  
• Supervise the maintenance inventory of IV ingredients (quantity and safety) and maintains adequate level of supplies
  
• Maintain all IV and med logs, and DEA binders
  
• Prepares workstation, daily paperwork, and accurate and timely documentation daily
  
• Follow up on patient calls and questions in a timely manner
  
• Keep the medical team up to date on all services current and upcoming within our facility for quality recommendations and education to patients
  
• Adverse reaction management of all procedures on site (including technologies)
  
• Notifies the Medical Director of any significant patient complications and concerns
  
• Provide weekend coverage as needed
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Graduation from an Accredited Physician Assistant Program
    
  • PA licensed to practice in CA
    
  • Strong foundational knowledge or interest in health optimization, longevity, and hormone replacement medicine
    
  • Demonstrates competency in planning for and providing age-specific care, population-specific care, and individualized-based medicine
    
  • Weekend call coverage occasionally
    
    Schedule:
    
    • 
      
    • 8:30am -5pm Monday through Friday
      
    • Call one Sunday per month
