Job Description:
Description:The AMFT is responsible for performing patient care
activities as directed by the Clinical Director. He/She will be
responsible for patient caseload and will provide group,
individual, and family therapy. The Marriage and Family Therapist
will conduct psychosocial and bio-psychosocial assessments. He/She
will collaborate with the Treatment Team to formulate the Master
Treatment Plan and assist in coordinating discharge planning. The
Marriage and Family Therapist has primary responsibility for
maintaining communication with the family, referral source and
other service providers as needed. The Marriage and Family
Therapist will hold a maximum caseload of 6 patients, will
facilitate two groups a week, and will provide patients with case
management support when needed. Perks:Medical, Dental, and Vision

annually Supervision will be provided!Pay Range $25 to $40 per hour
Commensurate with experience. Requirements:EDUCATION:Master's
Degree in social work, psychology or related human services field.
EXPERIENCE:One Year of work experience in the behavioral health
care setting.LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:Licensure and/or (Associate
License) to practice clinical discipline in the appropriate state,
as applicable, required in Social Work, Marriage and Family
Therapy, Mental Health counselor and/or Certified Addiction
Professional.SKILLS/ABILITIES:Marriage and Family Therapist
demonstrates Proficiency in Communication, observation & Written
skills.Marriage and Family Therapist has a knowledge of State &
Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws.Marriage
and Family Therapist has a knowledge of addictions.Marriage and
Family Therapist has the ability to interact with a
multi-disciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program
relating to physical and mental health.Marriage and Family
Therapist has a knowledge of the 12-Step Recovery Program.Marriage
and Family Therapist has a knowledge and competency in problem
solving, stress management, ethics and team building.Marriage and
Family Therapist has the ability to determine if a psychiatric
emergency exists and to take appropriate action, when
necessary.Marriage and Family Therapist shows flexibility to adapt
to schedule changes and assumption of responsibilities not
delineated in the job description which are related to work as a
