Model excellent medical practice to a team of Veterinarians Empower the care team to deliver an unparalleled client experience both in-clinic and virtually Mentor Associate Doctors regarding the improvement of individual metrics/performance with respect to client satisfaction, teamwork, medical quality, record keeping, and production Collaborate with the practice's Lead Technician to provide guidance to the practice team, and foster an environment of continuous learning, improvement, and excellence Implement the Modern Animal cultural vision by encouraging flexible scheduling, self-compassion, and a blame- and judgement-free work environment Lead and participate in activities that support the well-being of veterinary practitioners by making the profession both joyful and sustainable Requirements of a Modern Animal Lead Veterinarian Prefer at least 1 year of experience managing & leading teams of veterinarians and 5 years of experience as a Veterinarian Must have active license to practice veterinary medicine in California at the start of employment with Modern Animal License must be in good standing with no malpractice or disciplinary actions We believe an equitable and inclusive work environment and a diverse, empowered team are key to achieving our mission.
