About YouWe are looking for a strategic and driven individual to lead People Operations / HR and support a dynamic consulting and technology innovation firm. In this role, you will work directly with the senior executive leadership of the firm to ensure an engaging, supportive culture, as well as ongoing compliance and consistency across the firm. You will manage and collaboratively work with our People Ops team to provide day-to-day strategic and tactical HR support.

  • Develop positive, trusted partnerships with all levels of the organization to enable each individual to reach their full potential and drive results
  • Act as trusted advisor to executive leadership. Providing advice and counsel to managers and employees on employee relations matters
  • Offer functional Human Resources expertise to implement HR programs and projects across all teams and locations that encompasses the full employee life cycle, including onboarding, workforce analytics, talent development, compensation, retention and engagement, change initiatives, offboarding, and other HR programs and services
  • Provide day-to-day HR support (in person and remotely) to employees including senior leadership: this may include operation process support, compensation and benefit administration support, employee relations, talent management activities, compliance, organizational development and project participation and management
  • Ensuring the people-perspective is represented in business decisions so implications are understood and the employee population is proactively managed; Assessing the impact of business decisions and provide solutions to optimize opportunities and mitigate risks & issues
  • Ensure compliance of all labor and legal requirements, across all geographies
  • Lead the People Operations / HR team and execute responsibilities in a timely and quality manner
  • Manage multiple priorities in dynamic, changing environment, with a primarily remote workforce
  • Provide strategy and execute on activities around company culture, employee engagement, and initiatives such as diversity/inclusion
  • Participate and provide guidance in organizational effectiveness activities
  • Act as a change agent for future growth and development
  • Participation in other activities, as required



    Requirements





    • 8+ years of Human Resources business partner support that has shown consistent growth
    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Experience working proactively with multiple Corporate populations, including executive teams
    • Experience in both developing and tactically executing HR strategy in a lean organization
    • Experience leading and developing direct reports
    • Knowledge of employment regulations and administrative requirements, including expert knowledge of employment law (primarily CA, TX, NY and federal) required
    • Experience with culture initiatives, employee engagement, diversity/inclusion activities and community building
    • Demonstrated excellence in communications, problem solving skills and process improvement
    • Ability to use independent judgment to solve people and organizational issues
    • Demonstrated ability to stay positive and motivated in a growing, challenging and changing environment
    • Strong coaching and consulting skills with a track record of quickly gaining credibility and partnering collaboratively with business leaders
    • Proven track record of successful partnership with supporting a remote population
    • Ability to interface and influence at all levels of the organization
    • Team player that thrives in fast paced, dynamic environment
    • Demonstrated ability to work remotely while maintain timely execution of initiatives
    • Travel required - 20%, United States



      Preferred Skills





      • Experience with change management and employees communications
      • Experience with a start-up/growing company
      • SHRM SCP &/or SPHR Certification
