This position plays a vital role in supporting our tax preparers by coordinating the flow of documents and communications between clients and internal teams. The Case Manager Supervisor ensures productivity benchmarks are met while delivering an outstanding client experience.The ideal candidate will have prior experience preparing taxes for individuals and businesses, managing or leading teams, and a natural ability to motivate others, solve problems, and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.We're all about that in-person vibethis role is 100% on-site! We offer our team members a competitive salary and commission structure, along with growth opportunities and ongoing development.Base salary: $70,000 $75,000 annuallyCommission: Additional performance-based commission opportunities availableWHAT YOU'LL DOTeam Leadership & OversightManage a team of Tax Prep Analysts and Case Managers to ensure accurate and timely document collection and client communicationProvide continuous training and coaching to improve team performance and client satisfactionMonitor pipeline dashboards to track case progression and ensure cases are moved efficiently to Tax PreparersPerformance ManagementReview team KPIs, including client satisfaction rates, daily talk time, contact attempts, and document collection metricsEnsure daily tasks, appointments, and urgent priorities are completed before end of dayCommunicate updates to procedures and ensure team complianceClient Escalations & Quality AssuranceHandle escalated client calls with empathy and a solution-oriented approachCollaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless client experiencesIdentify areas for departmental improvement and recommend solutions to leadershipAdministrative SupportMaintain accurate case records and CRM updatesTrack team attendance and performance and escalate issues appropriatelyAssist with documentation, engagement letters, and interdepartmental coordinationWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE2+ years of experience in a supervisory or lead roleHands-on tax preparation experience (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1041, 941, amended and state returns)Familiarity with Schedules A, B, C, D, and EExperience managing a client-facing team in financial services, tax resolution, lending, or a similar fieldProven ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong customer service and decision-making skillsProficiency with CRM systems, TalkDesk or similar platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google WorkspaceWe understand that potential comes in many forms.
