Do you have five years of working experience in a safety and health role with a thorough understanding of federal and state OSHA regulations? Hunter Hamilton is hiring an experienced Safety and Environmental Health Manager for our manufacturing client in Sun Valley, CA. This key role plays a vital part in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a safety mindset, and have experience working within a manufacturing plant, you are the candidate we are searching for!

Salary: $90,000-$100,000
Direct-hire
1st Shift Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday

Essential Functions:

Oversee all aspects of the safety culture, fostering a proactive approach to risk prevention.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
Coordinate and deliver safety training programs to production personnel.
Monitor and maintain compliance with federal and state safety and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with government agencies, legal counsel, and inter-company personnel regarding safety and environmental matters.
Provide support and guidance to production personnel on safety and environmental best practices.
Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety and environmental documentation.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety and health role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage safety and environmental programs.
Statutory reporting experience is essential.
Strong understanding of federal and state OSHA regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Resourceful, adaptable, and proficient in written and verbal communication.
Willingness to travel to various plant locations.
