The Role?We are looking for a Product Development Manager to join the OUAI team! This role will report to the Director of Product Development and is critical to the success of the Product Development Team. Keeping the customer and user experience in mind, this role will help bring high-quality, high-performing products to life.What You'll Do:

• Manage and execute all phases of the new product development process from concept to launch
• Create and distribute Product Development Requests, providing specific directions to CMs regarding product attributes and expectations for NPD
• Partner with the packaging team to develop appropriate delivery systems and aesthetics for all products
• Oversee the evaluation and redirects of formula submissions from lab to production
• Work closely with CMs to ensure the product meets all requirements for costs, appearance, application, texture, usage etc.
  • Manage multiple project development milestones and final project timelines at once
  • Manage and align on claim substantiation plan with TPD Director, P&G regulatory & legal
  • Create systems for efficiencies that benefit the department
  • Assess and remove roadblocks to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Partner with the Brand to ensure claims, ingredients, features, and benefits are aligned
    • Manages day-to-day communication with CMs, ingredients suppliers, regulatory, and cross-functional teams
    • Support the Director of Product Development to provide answers to the PR and communications team for press questions regarding formula, ingredients, and efficacy
    • Attend domestic tradeshows to stay abreast of trends and industry happenings What You'll Bring:

        • 4+ years of relevant experience in Product Development in cosmetics or personal care
        • Bachelor's Degree preferred
        • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
        • Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
        • Critical thinking and problem-solving
          • Ability to take ownership of projects while being collaborative
          • Role is based in Los Angeles, hybrid Benefits
            • Annual Base Salary range - 80,000 - 90,000 a year (based on experience)
