The position requires advanced knowledge of proposal preparation processes that follow UC and Sponsor guidelines in order to facilitate compliant proposal submissions. Advanced financial analysis and compliance monitoring to produce a variety of user-friendly financial reports; proactively promote compliance with federal regulations, University policy and school guidelines. Develop resources and training tools which promote consistent standards in contract and grant administration, clinical trial administration and school-wide financial management. You will be an active participant in the campus' shared responsibility for ensuring responsible stewardship for contract, grant, and clinical trial funds provided by external sponsors. Expected to maintain professional working relationship with various university departments (e.g. OCGA, EFM, ORA etc.). The Senior Fund Manager must function with an advanced level of independence in order to carry out a high level of responsibility in contract and grant management.
