Job Description:
Scheduling Manager, OHLA USA Inc., Irvine, CA:
Responsibilities
- Develop CPM baseline schedules in latest version of Primavera
P6 application.
- Load revenue, resources, and cost to CPM Primavera
schedules.
- Prepare monthly payment application from CPM schedule updates
and submit to owner through coordination with segment
managers.
- Develop Time Impact Analysis and cumulative Time Impact
Analysis for multiple PCOs including quality narratives in
preparing Time extension requests.
- Perform Earned Value Analysis. Prepare monthly schedule project
updates including quality narratives from CPM baseline integrated
master schedule.
- Prepare cash flow projections from CPM baseline integrated
master schedule and present to Senior Management.
- Analyze cost trends per project segment and discipline and
provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop conceptual MOT drawings and work with Design MOT
Managers to develop detailed MOT drawings for optimizing project
schedule.
- Work with Estimating department to prepare change order
packages related to time impacts for several PCOs.
- Work with Contracts department to review and approve
subcontractor bid schedules by providing recommendations for
improvement.
- Work with Segment Managers to track schedule progress within
the segment weekly and provide recommendations to Senior Management
for improvement.
- Assist Senior Project Management towards improving project and
business goals from construction planning and controls perspective
including analysis of risks.
- Manage Scheduling team consisting of Junior and Senior
Schedulers with project planning and control goals.
- Develop and present weekly and monthly executive reports to
communicate project status, areas of risk and potential recovery
plans to Senior Project Management.
- Conduct weekly planning and scheduling meeting with Segment
Managers to track progress and recommended corrective
actions.
- Assist Senior Management to forecast project cost which align
with the schedule opportunities, demands, and risks.
Qualifications
- Must have Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Construction
Management, or related, and 5 years of scheduling experience for
construction projects.
- Must also have 5 years of experience in: (i) reading, analyzing
and interpreting design and construction documents and government
regulations; and (ii) utilizing Primavera.
- Alternatively, may have Master's in Civil Engineering,
Construction Management, or related, and 2 years of scheduling
experience for construction projects.
- Must also have 2 years' experience in: (i) reading, analyzing
and interpreting design and construction documents and government
regulations; and (ii) utilizing Primavera. Experience may be gained
concurrently.
Offered salary range is $128,000 - $175,000.
