JOB DESCRIPTION
The FX Finance department is seeking a Manager to work closely with the Director of Production Finance in overseeing production accounting of all FXP shows related to compliance and costs.
Responsibilities
Manage show set-up of all FXP shows by setting up production accounting systems and production bank accounts. Coordinate set-up of Production and Finance Executives signatories for production bank accounts, complete and distribute "Welcome Packet" via Scenechronize, and oversee the set-up of CASHet purchasing cards for new productions.
Manage and track all TV incentives/tax credits for both domestic and international, various Guild audits (SAG-AFTRA, WGA, DGA, MPI).
Work with SVP/Director of Production Finance, Production Executives and Production Accountants in overseeing the entire post process including records management, show turnover, post production accounting and issuing final cost reports.
Oversee various banking/treasury functions with the direction of the Treasury department.
Ensure ATL reconciliations for all FXP shows are completed before the end of production.
Manage and approve funding reconciliations.
Manage various projects, i.e. including providing quarterly tax credit report to tax department, 1099 processes for all FXP shows annually.
Manage various ad hoc projects.
Requirements/Qualifications
Four year college degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred
5+ years of experience in production accounting/finance preferred
Must be detail oriented, organized, and able to multitask
Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills required
Strong MS Office skills required, with an emphasis on Excel; Vista, PSL, and Movie Magic Budgeting preferred
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with internal/external partners
Must be comfortable working in a corporate environment, and also possess a solid understanding of production
