Position Summary: As a Senior Manager, Solutions, you will join EVgo's Business Development and Solutions team, which is a fast-paced, results-oriented, hands-on group focusing on building and delivering end-to-end business and technical solutions across the value chain to EVgo's fleet and retail customers and partners. The successful candidate is a technically savvy business leader and truly cross-functional. EV Charging and/or Clean Energy solution sales experience is highly desired. You will work closely with b usiness development, hardware, software, data science, finance, operations, and other internal teams to shape technical solutions and lead specific customer engagements. You are systems driven and have delivered products bringing products, services, and delivery. T ogether . The solutions team construct s powerful and valuable solutions offerings across the EV charging value chain (hardware, software, services) for EVgo's customers. You will be responsible for educating customers on the value propositions of EVgo's solutions. Acting as a conduit and liaison between customers and internal technical and operations teams in both a pre-sales and post-sales context. This role requires someone with proven customer-facing skills that will allow them to represent EVgo well within a customer's environment and drive discussions with decision-makers. Leveraging a technical background, you will easily interact and give guidance to software developers, hardware engineers, and services professionals within EVgo . As a strategic thinker , you must have the ability to think strategically, be able to dive into appropriate technical depth when required and articulate high-level summaries to senior management with the right level of detail. Excellent written and oral presentation skills are a must . Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver innovative solution offerings across the value chain (hardware, software, O&M, etc.) that will deliver value to EVgo's enterprise customers.
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration with other EVgo teams on new product offerings, business development efforts, and overall solution design.
  • Understand customer strategic priorities, perform assessments of client's existing infrastructure and operations and business needs with EVgo's solution offerings.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, partner ecosystem, and EVgo's product differentiation needed to provide turnkey solutions to customers.
  • Support the execution of product strategy into cross-functionally aligned roadmaps, from definition to launch.
  • Serve as a trusted business partner to EVgo's enterprise customers by understanding their strategic priorities and delivering value through products and solutions. Required Skills and Experience:
    • BS/MS in engineering/science, computer science, or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant industry experience doing solution development.
    • Experience and understanding of the fleet/mobility/cleantech industries and market trends preferred.
    • Experience in cloud software and hardware product management and product development processes.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to simply convey complex concepts
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • The high degree of self-confidence and ability to self-learn.
    • Inherent strong planning, analytical, interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
    • Willingness to travel to engage face-to-face with customers. Employees are required to provide documentation of COVID-19 vaccination.

      For job positions in CA, CO, and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $135,000 USD to $160,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, discretionary target cash bonus, and restricted stock units (subject to Board Approval).
