Director of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

• Develop and execute Xsolla's AI strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision and objectives
• Directly contribute to AI research, development, and implementation, focusing on machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and related fields
• Continuously explore and evaluate cutting-edge AI techniques, tools, and algorithms to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and data analytics, to identify and prioritize AI-driven projects and initiatives
• Collaborate with other executives and stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage AI in various departments
• Design, develop, and implement experimental AI models, validating their effectiveness and refining them as needed
• Establish best practices for AI development and deployment, with a focus on mathematical rigor, data quality, and engineering excellence
• Develop and maintain relationships with academic institutions, research organizations, and technology partners to foster collaboration and drive innovation
• Actively participate in industry conferences, seminars, and events, showcasing Xsolla's AI capabilities and thought leadership
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI technology and identify opportunities for the company to stay ahead of the curve
  
  REQUIREMENTS
  
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI research, development, and implementation, with a focus on mathematical, experimental, and engineering aspects
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing AI-driven solutions in a technology or gaming company
  • Expertise in AI programming languages, frameworks, and tools (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras)
  • Deep understanding of mathematical concepts and techniques related to AI, including linear algebra, probability, statistics, and optimization
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with the gaming industry and its unique challenges and opportunities is a plus
    
    $220,000 - $250,000 a year
    
    Relocation package is offered for this role.
