Description: A client of ours in the healthcare space is looking
for a full-time Director of Integrations!Director of IntegrationsEl
Segundo, CA Hybrid or West Coast REMOTESalary + Bonus +
EquityPrimary Responsibilities:---Lead technical teams within
Integration & Interoperability---Establishing interoperability best
practices and acting as an Enterprise expert on complex issues
relating to Interoperability standardization ----Develop,
communicate, and lead the implementation of integration standards
and best practices aligned with interoperability Implementation
Guides (e.g., CARIN, HL7, IHE)---Develop position papers outlining
potential tactical and strategic plans based on active monitoring
of changes to federal and state regulations that affect healthcare
IT interoperability, compliance, testing, reporting and
certification requirements---Monitoring changes to federal and
state regulations that affect healthcare IT interoperability,
compliance, testing, reporting and certification
requirement---Working with Legal, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs,
Product Management and Development teams to identify functional
gaps and define software enhancements to achieve and maintain
required compliance and certifications---Participating in relevant
industry associations and standards groups, and remaining familiar
with leading third-party vendors---Supporting the development of
tactical and strategic plans to satisfy technical business needs
and new business proposals---Developing and maintaining strong,
cooperative relationships with internal IT services groups
----Developing internal and external thought leadership in health
care interoperability.Required Qualifications:---7+ years of
experience in health care data platforms, especially for use cases
involving provider data, claims and encounter data, contract, and
risk modeling---7+ years of experience managing health IT software
products---Expert level knowledge and experience with Electronic
Medical Record (EMR) systems, integration technologies, and health
care transaction standards (HIPAA, HITECH, Healthcare
Reform)---Expert in healthcare interoperability standards including
FHIR (4.0.1), US Core/ UCSDI---In-depth knowledge of clinical
health care data, terminology, concepts, and business processes,
including:---Health Management Programs, Lab Results, Biometrics
Results, Utilization Management and Case Management (UMCM), Disease
Management and/ or Appeals ----In-depth knowledge of health
terminology and interoperability standards (e.g., SNOMED, ICD 10,
HL7, FHIR, CDA)Preferred Qualifications:---BS/ BA in engineering,
computer science or equivalent education or experience---Certified
HL7 FHIR Specialist---Certified HL7 CDA
Specialist---Healthcare/Managed Care experience---Experience in
thought leadership through participation or leadership roles in
industry Interoperability consortiums such as HL7 Da Vinci,
Argonaut, CARIN Alliance ----Knowledge of commercial apps in the
FHIR environment such as HL7 Argonaut, SMART on FHIR, and Apple's
FHIR health care Initiatives---Familiarity with major industry
players such as the ONC, HL7 International, Carequality,
CommonWell, and EMR vendors---Success working with and analyzing
large and sensitive data sets -
