best work.(sm) The Vice President, High Value Provider
Recommendation Consumer Experience is a key leadership position
that works across the UnitedHealthcare business segments to set the
experience vision and strategy for how customers access provider
recommendations within a given journey across all channels and
products. The goal of this experience owner role is to partner with
provider network, consumer experience, product and engineering
teams to deliver high value, personalized provider recommendations
using modern technologies in an agile and iterative way. This
individual will be responsible for aligning all stakeholders
towards a unified experience that serves the consumers' needs. This
is a role that is a decision making and ownership role but is
collaborative in nature and pushes the organization to leverage
product and scrum methodologies to transform healthcare experiences
at speed and scale. We are at the early stages of developing these
critical experiences roles that must be able to understand the
end-to-end impact of experiences created within a journey and
across the healthcare experience ecosystem. You'll enjoy the
flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you
take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:
- Vision & Strategy - Sets the vision by communicating and
refining the backlog of projects & features while collecting input
from stakeholders (cross functional and cross business). Creates
the network strategies that support a better consumer experience
related to provider recommendation. Further translating those
strategies into initiatives/themes for the consumer experience and
product teams to add to their backlog of projects & features
- Experience Analytics - Identify business challenges and
opportunities for improvement using data analytics, as well as
customer/colleague feedback and pain points. Understand existing
processes and systems in depth for those transactions/experiences
for which you are responsible
- Delivery - Manages experience lifecycle from conception to
release, iteration and maintenance, driving the right product
portfolio for the experience and prioritizing work in backlogs to
ensure products are delivering to experience expectations. Works
with agile teams to iterate and build; focus on prioritizing the
business value from different pieces of the work to improve speed
to market for those features that will drive the most value to the
company
- Outcomes - Maintains a clear vision on the highest value
experience backlog items and make trade-offs based on consumer
experience team capacity to determine the backlog. Continually
re-prioritize team's tasks based on new information from the team,
discussing with stakeholders, and likelihood to drive business
outcomes
- Results & Metrics - Defines, tracks and monitors Objectives and
Key Results (OKRs). Ensures correct data and instrumentation for
the experience and related sub-processes; uses data to improve
experiences. Continues to collect feedback on experiences that
align to critical long-term goals of growth, clinical outcomes, and

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience leading strategic initiatives and
development and implementation, including operating policies and
procedures and work process improvements
- 5+ years of working with product management or experience teams
to deliver solutions using agile methodologies that are directly
aligned to meeting consumer needs
- Extensive experience planning and managing large-scale,
strategic marketing/product/experience initiatives, including
capital planning, across matrixed organizations
- Comprehensive understanding of the operations and people within
the business. Proven success with integrated marketing practices
and tools, including some mix of print, digital/social, video,
advertising, public relations, experiential
- Proven exceptional written and verbal communication skills with
ability to communicate and inspire at all levels, including
addressing opportunities, risks, and strategic positioning with
business and technology leaders
- Proven record of displaying ownership, urgency and sound
decision-making skills
- Demonstrated leadership & consensus building skills with
willingness to embrace personal & professional development
- Demonstrated solid analytical and quantitative skills that
align with a OKR based approach
- Demonstrated willingness to challenge the status quo and try
new or untested ideas and approaches. Effectively filters and

best. As an industry leader, our commitment to improving lives is

City, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City, or
Washington residents is $142,300 to $273,200. Pay is based on
several factors including but not limited to education, work
experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary,
