Our services are currently available in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Mexico.About the Role: We are looking for an Original Content Manager to join our expanding Original Content team. This role will be a key factor in supporting our rapidly growing slate of Original movies and series. Reporting to the VP of Original Content, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the production and creative affairs of Original content from prep to final delivery. Your main objectives will be to ensure Tubi productions are delivered on time and on budget with an emphasis on quality control and to make sure the creative needs of Tubi Originals are delivered on time and in a scalable manner. The ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of independent and/or TV movie productions and is highly proficient in production methodologies. This position will be a hybrid working environment, so we will need this person to be located in Los Angeles. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all non-creative elements of prep/pre-production including but not limited to production budgets, schedules, locations, tax and other incentives and third party vendors
  • Manage the creative affairs process throughout the production lifecycle including but not limited to:
    • Development - review creative submissions/coverages notes on concepts, pitches, IP materials, treatments and scripts
    • Cast - advise on casting options, auditions, selections, talent restrictions, etc
    • Crew - advise on above-the-line creatives including director, writer, producer and DP
    • Advise on key elements and creative choices such as location, wardrobe, etc
    • As required, represent Tubi on set at various production locations to ensure creative consistency and talent relations as needed
    • Review dailies and provide feedback to producers on an ongoing basis
    • Review all cuts, provide feedback and aggregate notes from the Content team
    • Provide feedback on key above-the-line hires including director and DP
    • Manage day-to-day relationship and communication with Tubi's production partners as it relates to creative elements
    • Supervise all aspects of physical production with an emphasis on quality control and financial impact
    • As required, represent Tubi on set at various production locations
    • Ensure Tubi productions are adhering to their approved schedules and budgets
    • Ensure productions are complying with all obligations including but not limited to access/distribution of dailies, health and safety ordinances, union and guild requirements, etc.
    • Manage all elements of post-production through full asset delivery including but not limited to QC, VFX, music, ADR, credits, etc. Your Background:
      • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience
      • 4-5 years of experience as a production manager/supervisor/creative executive at a production company, studio, network and/or streamer
      • Ability to successfully oversee creative affairs and development across a high-volume of projects
      • Proficiency at budgeting and production methodology
      • Deep understanding of how to conform content to meet audience demands
      • Experience and ability to successfully oversee a high-volume of projects throughout all stages of production
      • Encyclopedic knowledge and passion for movies and television shows
      • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
      • A proactive and collaborative team player who can work both independently and cross-functionally
      • The ability to work in a high-volume environment with an emphasis on speed as well as quality control Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $96,000.00- $118,000.00 annually for Colorado. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, a long-term incentive plan , and various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement. This job cannot be performed in NYC or Westchester County, NY.
