Betts Truck Parts and Service has a wonderful career opportunity in our Sun Valley branch! Our Branch Manager manages our retail store and repair shop engaged in selling, replacing, and repairing specific, related, or general lines of merchandise related to the truck parts industry by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees and supervisors.Betts is a family-owned company in business for over 150 years. We specialize in parts and service work for suspensions, brakes, wheel ends, and more on a variety of vehicles. We offer an aggressive compensation package, bonuses, benefits, and paid time off. We currently operate 8 locations on the west coast and are growing. Our Sun Valley store is open Monday through Friday 7 am - 5 pm.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEmbraces The Betts Way framework and leads by exampleFrequent interaction and collaboration with other functional areas and business units to ensure company Top Level Metrics (TLM) are achievedManage employees engaged in servicing customers including following safe and efficient installation and repair of vehicles; delivery of parts and other tasks associated with management of accountsResponsible for accurate inventory control of branch merchandise and completion of cycle counts, including core returns, in a prompt and accurate mannerReviews suggested orders for merchandise prepared by Inventory Control and/or prepares requisitions to replenish merchandise on hand or already sold to customersReviews pricing policies and pricing exceptions on merchandise according to requirements for the profitability of store operationsFollow established policies regarding transaction recordkeeping and bank depositsReport unusual activity, customer complaints, and discrepancies to management in a timely fashionStore to be maintained in a clean and safe manner and appropriately secured during non-work hoursSupervisory ResponsibilitiesManages one subordinate supervisor who supervises a total of 3-7 employees in the Service Shop. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Also directly supervises 5-12 non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements:
5 + years of related experience in the heavy-duty industryValid Driver's license requiredMultitask and have excellent time management skillsMentor junior employees and lead a teamShow excitement for growing the business and acquiring new customersAnalyze financial records, plan and follow a budgetShow creative problem-solvingAnalyze financial recordsFocus on customer service and lead by exampleShow strong attention to detailPI197706204
