Job Description (summary) Oversees and lead the activities of the Sales Department Hires and trains sales executives Organizes and oversees the schedules, territories, and performance of sales executives. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive Handles discipline and termination of sales executives in accordance with company policy Provides leadership to the sales team Motivates and encourages sales team to ensure quotas are met Identifies and analyzes customer's needs to properly direct sales efforts Alerts customers of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest Assigns territories and sets quotas for sales teams Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies Acts as company representative at meetings, trade and events. Conducts sales for all carriers in our airline portfolio Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads Analyze market to determine growth opportunities Develops business plans to maximize cargo revenues, promoting all Globe Air Cargo products Develops and implements marketing strategies Achieve goals and corporate objectives for products and services Delivers sales presentations to clients Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls and visits Works in collaboration with Directors, other Sales Managers and Customer Service Representatives Prepares periodic reports in Excel, Word and PowerPoint showing forecast, sales volume and identified prospective customers Comply with an assigned set number of sales visits per week Maximize sales utilizing the company's system Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: Business Acumen Excellent sales and negotiation skills Outstanding analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Strong work ethic Strong attention to details Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to effectively solve problems Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment Ability to work with demanding deadlines and at times stressful environment Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Excel and PowerPointWe have a highly dynamic global work environment, and we offer a competitive compensation package with excellent benefits, which include health and dental insurance, paid time off and 401(k) Plan with company match.
