Summary
The CRE Program is part of Client Excellence in the Client and Market Growth (CMG) organization. Client Excellence is focused on enabling our Client Leaders to grow their accounts and be successful in the market. The CRE Program is designed to support and deploy our US CREs in a manner that contributes to the overall growth of our US portfolio, building relationships at the firm's most strategic client accounts. The CRE CoS provides leadership and support to all program strategy and operations, serving in a capacity of COO to the CRE National Leader.
We are seeking a full-time Chief of Staff to partner with the National CRE Leader to manage the overall strategy, planning, execution and drive collaboration and partnership between the program and all US based industries to support the development, deployment, and overall program for the CREs. This role offers a unique opportunity to interface directly with senior leaders within CI&I, across industries, as well as across the US Firm, enhance operations management capabilities, and plan and execute strategic projects.
Responsibilities
Program Strategy & Leadership:
Develop and support CRE Program strategy, execute and/or manage CRE program priorities, manage CRE Metrics (program and individual)
Build and support ongoing engagement with strategic program stakeholders, including: NILs, ICOS, NSLs, other CMG leadership, and CREs
Drive engagement with key leaders in firm assets, alliances, and initiatives, and build partnerships with business stakeholders
Program Management:
Manage program and supporting resources; develop and maintain program workplan, including development strategy for USI resources, CI&I shared resources, program resources
Develop and support execution of CRE development strategy
Manage program communications (newsletters, DNet, webcasts, etc.) and events (e.g., annual summit planning/execution, quarterly onboarding)
Performance Management:
Support CRE Talent initiatives, including but not limited to:
CRE Midyear & Yearend process
CRE Promotion (SM to MD and MD Peering)
CRE recruiting & CRE headcount management (including New CRE Business Case development)
CRE expectations frameworks and performance metrics
Support CRE Succession Planning and CRE to LCSP Planning/Progression
Develop and manage CRE training and leadership development programs, streamline connection to key leadership development opportunities and investments for CREs
Client Excellence Engagement:
Collaborate with broader Client Excellence team to share insights and feedback from CREs/CRE Program that may benefit other programming and/or improve CE's go to market support and leadership
Engage with broader CMG, CI&I, Marketing, and other relevant teams to stay informed of new leading practices, tools, and resources that may benefit the CREs and further CMG's growth strategy
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; Master's degree/MBA preferred
Minimum 10 years professional experience. Client service experience and/or industry experience preferred
Previous project management experience and strong business acumen, deep understanding of, and experience in the operations of the firm are a must
Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
Ability to build a sustainable, optimized program portfolio through partnerships with Industries and Businesses
Experience navigating the firm from a Green Dot perspective to drive integrated thought leadership agenda, teaming, and production
Exceptional active listening, questioning, and coaching skills
Strong understanding of Talent development, performance management and community building
Tact and diplomacy to navigate difficult conversations and ask tough questions to challenge assumptions/perspectives
Strong relationships and influence across the industries and businesses
Flexibility, agility, and willingness to adapt on the fly to ensure the program continues to excel and meet firm growth priorities
Ability to design and take initiatives from abstract to concrete
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative analyses into clear messages and informed responses to leadership
Self-starter, independent thinker, organized, resourceful and detail oriented
Team-oriented in approach with a strong competency to work with distributed team members
Ability to handle sensitive leadership information with utmost confidentiality
Executive presence and excellent communications skills
Advanced capability with Microsoft Office suite (PPT and Excel)
Ability to work with a virtual team including US and USI
