Program Director wanted for a Los Angeles Residency Program, Family physician to serve as program director for the Family Medicine Residency Program. The successful candidate must have completed a residency in and be board certified in family medicine, have a minimum of three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience as faculty must be knowledgeable about ACGME requirements. This is an immediate opening.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Supporting institutional and program mission and aims.
  
• Guide trainees to excel in both academic and clinical medical careers
  
• Round with Residents
  
• Continuing accreditation of the program to ACGME Standards
  
• Review Committee policies and procedures and CHMC GME policies and procedures.
  
• Develop and improve a high-quality, compressive Family Medicine curriculum
  
• Responsible for mentoring and teaching faculty and monitoring their assignments
  
• Conduct an annual performance review
  
• Recruit, retain, and promote a high-caliber resident body
  
• Cultivate a psychologically safe working and learning environment
  
• Establish & maintain an education liaison with community-based & academic institutions
  
• Positively interact with the faculty
