Your Job
The Indeed Hiring Platform (IHP) team is seeking a tech lead,
full-stack or front-end software engineer to help us design, build,
and launch a new suite of web/mobile applications for screening,
scheduling, and communicating with candidates to facilitate actual
interviews with employers. The IHP is optimized for enterprise
employers, to enable hiring at scale by letting jobseekers RSVP to
an interview in lieu of applying for a job, effectively skipping
directly to an interview.
The Interview Session Management team sits within IHP and is
responsible for a dashboard and related services that allow both
internal stakeholders and external employers to manage and
configure interview sessions. It offers improvements and
efficiencies in setting up and modifying upcoming interview
sessions for jobseekers, as well as provides self-service
capabilities for employers to make changes to interview
sessions.

We instrument our code liberally with analytics so we can see
what's happening
We release daily
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with designers, product managers and other engineers to
design product experiences.
Build applications using modern Javascript front-end frameworks
(such as React) and update/consume back end services in Java.
Continually improve our technical stack and processes.
Maintain existing tools and infrastructure as necessary.
Participate in usability testing.
Help drive the technical direction of the product and mentor other
team members.
Who You Are
You will be responsible for entire projects, from working with a
Product Manager and a UX Designer on the problem being solved,
possible solutions, the UI design, implementation and analytics.
You should possess a mix of technical strength, business strength
and good product ideas.

Is willing to work in a tech stack deemed most suitable for the
project.

currently underway or conceived in the future.
Requirements:
BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent).
7+ years of experience developing web applications with a modern
Javascript framework: React, Angular, or Vue.
Experience architecting and developing scalable services, including
services development in Java.
Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Minimum 1 year of experience mentoring junior engineers.
Experience serving as a team lead is a plus.

Salary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed
salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending
on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and
performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeeds
total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include
quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time
Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
Salary Range Transparency
Austin 143,000 - 207,000 USD per year
NYC Metro Area 184,000 - 266,000 USD per year
SF Bay Area 196,000 - 284,000 USD per year
Seattle 184,000 - 266,000 USD per year
US Remote 143,000 - 207,000 USD per year
