will be part of the Corporate Accounting team supporting the
Company's research, implementation and monitoring of accounting
policies and procedure in accordance with GAAP related to mergers &
acquisitions and associated integration and our debt and equity
investment portfolio. This Sr. Manager will work closely with the
key stakeholders to oversee the accounting due diligence and
post-close integration of acquisitions. This role also oversees the
implementation of new accounting standards, provides guidance for
complex and non-routine accounting matters, and manages the
Company's accounting policies with a focus on enhancing current
processes.Essential Functions--- Subject matter expert of complex
accounting areas, such as business combinations, consolidation,
revenue recognition, leases, and debt and equity investments.---
Lead and participate accounting due diligence and purchase
accounting for acquisitions.--- Oversee the accounting transition
and integration of acquisitions.--- Lead and participate in
implementation of strategic initiatives and provide thought
leadership on complex and non-routine accounting matters to
business partners.--- Ability to work cross-functionally and foster
strong working relationships with key stakeholders to assist with
transition and integration activities from strategic
initiatives.--- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of direct and
indirect report accounting professionals.Job Complexities--- Works
on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data
requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors--- Exercises
considerable judgment within broadly defined practices and policies
in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for
obtaining results--- On a regular basis, initiates corrective
action needed to resolve complex, critical issues--- Strategic and
analytical thinking with keen attention to details and ability to
articulate complex accounting transactions in a simple
way.Supervision Received or Extended--- Responsible for managing
direct and indirect tasks that impacts other departments.--- Makes
final decisions on administrative or operational matters and
ensures operations' achievement of objectives.Knowledge and
Skills/Technology Used--- Performs and/or reviews complex
accounting research and analysis.--- Identifies and manages the
implementation of new accounting guidance across the company---
In-depth knowledge of GAAP concepts and how to apply them---
Ability to research, create and apply accounting conceptsTypical
Education--- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of
education and experienceTypical Range of Experience--- 5+ years
progressive management experience--- 4+ years of public accounting
experienceLicense or Certification--- Active CPA license
