We are searching for an enthusiastic event manager with a "can-do"
attitude to assist our organization in hosting virtual and
in-person events that enhance our organization's image, improve
client loyalty, and enhance our brand-to-client experience. This
includes industry trade shows, conferences, webinars, customer
meetings, roadshows, financial and industry events. The event
manager will be tasked with researching and securing venues,
planning and managing our events' calendar, negotiating quotes and
agreements with vendors, assisting with event marketing, monitoring
timeframes and budgets, networking, and delivering on event brief
objectives. Your creativity, organizational skills, and vision will
assist our organization in amplifying brand visibility, enhancing
client and employee relations, and improve our organization's
growth through events that effectively communicate business
strategy and brand personality. If you are storyteller that is
passionate about bringing narratives to life at an event in

them to life, this is the place for you. You'll manage the whole
process from the planning stage, right through to running the event
and carrying out the post-event evaluation. The role is primarily
hands-on and often involves working as part of a team.Key
Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal
stakeholders, marketing partners, sales and cross-functional teams
and business groups at all management levels Determine event
requirements with key stakeholders Manage pre-show, on-site and
post-show event deliverables meeting all milestones and deadlines,
including event theme, event design, venue research and
procurement, catering, staffing, audio/visual, technical
requirements, and production, etc. Manage all budget and related
financial responsibilities, including estimates, deposits and
invoicing, billing, and event expense reconciliation, provide
detailed post-show expense reporting and success metrics to improve
return on investment Coordinate and lead kick-off meetings, vendor
meetings, distribute event plans as needed and provide timely
updates Responsible for negotiating contracts with conference
organizers and vendors Produce detailed proposals for events
(including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations,
staffing and budgets) Work with product teams to source demo
equipment and internal resources to staff events Attend event
set-up and tear down and manage on-site vendors Oversee all
technical aspects of events including working with exhibit
designers, product teams, demo staff and managing the technical
equipment. Manage master events calendar, ensuring accuracy and
timeliness Provide post-mortem analysis and recommendations for
future event improvement Research global industry events,
monitoring best practices and making recommendations Liaise with
sales and marketing teams to publicize and promote the event Manage
all pre-event planning, organizing guest speakers and delegate
packs
Coordinate suppliers, handle client
queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all
runs smoothly and to budgetOrganize facilities for car parking,
traffic control, security, first aid, hospitality and the mediaMake
sure that insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are
followedProduce post-event evaluation to inform future
eventsRequired Qualifications
4-5 years of recent event management
and production experience BA/BS degree in marketing or related
field of study; or equivalent work experience Outstanding
organizational, project management, negotiation, presentation, and
analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and
successfully Ability to work with internal resources and vendors to
ensure work is completed on time, on budget, on message, and to
quality standards Possess clever and quick problem-solving skills A
love for media and entertainment technology, consumer electronics
gadgets, and a basic understanding of computer networks the
successful candidate will have a strong ability to communicate with
installers/technical staff and problem solvingDesired Skills
The ideal candidate will be a
creative thinker and storyteller Experience in other marketing
disciplines, including digital marketing, social media, lead
generation, marcom, campaign management, creative services or field
marketing Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing
environment Keeps an open line of communication with stakeholders A

This position is based in Calabasas
and reports to Sr. Director, Marketing Programs 25% travel (some
international) expected; some weekends and holidays
