The Senior Manager, Annual Fund is responsible for the administration of Venice Family Clinic's annual giving program including all aspects of giving appeals and direct mail, membership programs and solicitations, and associated projects and programs. The person in this position will seek creative ways to diversify the donor base, and also manage a portfolio of donors to retain and increase giving. Working together with development staff and advancement services, the Senior Manager, Annual Fund will develop strategies to move annual fund donors into the Leadership and Major Gifts categories. This position reports to the Director of Individual and Corporate Giving and collaborates closely with a team of development professionals.Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in development with at least three years of experience specifically in development and event fundraising.
• Proven ability to cultivate and solicit individuals, preferably at both the membership and the major gift level - Required.
• Exemplary written and oral communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into persuasive verbal proposals and effectively communicate the vision, mission, and programs of Venice Family Clinic to external stakeholders - Required.
• Ability to analyze statistics and present data in accessible formats within donor materials - Required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to set priorities, bring projects to completion, and meet multiple deadlines with a high degree of autonomy - Required.
• Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with a successful track record of engaging donors and strengthening donor relationships - Required.
• Ability to maintain a high level of poise and professionalism in all circumstances - Required.
• Willingness to travel and work on occasional weekends and evenings - Required.
• Solid experience enlisting and managing volunteers - Required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software is required and past use of donor databases (Salesforce or an equivalent system) is highly preferred - Required.
• A Bachelor's Degree. An advanced degree is preferred.
• The incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading his or her skills, knowledge and abilities through ongoing professional development - Required.
