and advertising solutions. Overview: Velocity - The Studio
Marketing + Branded Content team is a group dedicated to campaign
pitch and activation across Paramount's Ad Solutions specifically
aligned with the Theatrical, Streaming and Network advertising
partners. We partner with the Sales and Creative teams to develop
coordinated marketing solutions that drive upfront and scatter
budgets. Then, lead the activation of partner programs across all
Paramount screens and networks (except BET), in collaboration with
channel constituents. In addition, we handle all campaign work
regarding Upfront Advertisers with sold marketing and an identified
property, from pitch through activation. As Senior Director, you
will handle client-facing activation of linear, digital, and social
media marketing programs with a specific focus on growing digital
revenue through innovative marketing solutions. You will interact
with cross-disciplinary teams including clients, sales, media
agencies, Ad Solutions, creative, production, social media,
editorial, legal, and external vendors. Responsibilities:
- Act as a team lead for the Studio Marketing and Branded Content
group.
- Assign team points for RFP responses and post-sale
activations.
- Coordinate team workload to ensure all projects are on track
and issues are addressed.
- Coach and mentor manager and coordinator level teammates and
map their development.
- Serve as client contact and lead activation point on complex
marketing programs ensuring the best creative practices are adhered
to and celebrated.
- Proactively work with internal teams to develop new
revenue-generating opportunities and sponsorship packages connected
to our IP/talent/brand.
- Build and apply relationships across the channel(s) to better
serve our business and help address challenges as they arise.
- Apply critical thinking to identify areas of opportunity for
the team and business.
- Support VP and mentor junior team. Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience working in consulting, strategy, or
advertising, and a familiarity with Integrated marketing and Ad
Sales. Additional Qualifications:
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation
skills.
- Proven ability to shepherd projects from start to finish.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; flexible and
adaptable to change.
- Experience supporting cross-disciplinary working teams.
- Experience preparing creative/strategic briefs and project
assignments and handling timelines, etc.
- A highly developed knowledge of the value of brands in the
marketplace and how to manage their needs as clients.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-development and leadership
skills.
- Excellent understanding of and passion for platform-specific
content creation!
