Ecommerce, D2C client is seeking an Email Marketing Manager to join their growing marketing team!

This position will be fully remote, through Jan 31st. Then it will transition to hybrid, onsite in Santa Monica 2-3 days per week.

The ideal Email Marketing Manager will be brought on to build, deliver, and optimize our email marketing strategies and maximize revenue potential. Must be able to focus on delivery, testing, and optimization. Duties include:
--- Responsible for the day-to-day management of email campaigns including but not limited to creating email briefs, editing messages, structuring AB tests, developing customer lifecycle automated journeys, and scheduling deliveries
--- Manage email marketing: strategy, calendaring, implementation, execution, optimization, monitoring, reporting and analysis to increase revenue.
--- Optimize email programs through continual testing of creative, subject lines, cadence, offers, targeting, etc.
--- Create data extensions and segments
--- Build journeys for drip campaigns
--- Monitor and optimize deliverability and ensure CAN-SPAM compliance to maintain high deliverability, data hygiene, and channel health.
--- Work with ISP/ESP to gain whitelisting / remove any blacklisting where applicable.
--- Analyze and monitor results closely
--- Ensure high Inbox delivery rates for all email campaigns
--- Work closely with Design Team to proactively evaluate branding, design, messaging, and functionality of email to develop the most effective email campaigns.
--- Produce daily, weekly and monthly status, strategy and reporting that details KPIs, results, and summary of strategy based on data.
--- Manage automated emails, identify and develop new automated emails to increase customer engagement, website traffic and customer lifetime value
--- Manage a team of 3-4 individuals

--- 3-5+ Years Email Marketing Experience
--- 3+ Years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
--- Strong knowledge of AMPScript and complex SQL
--- Strong knowledge of delivery issues and optimization.
--- Ability to work independently as well as build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams.
--- Previous leadership role a plus
--- Proven track record of creating, implementing and optimizing complex email programs to meet business goals.
--- Strong understanding of HTML and CSS and ideally Tableau
--- Working knowledge of Google Analytics
--- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification, a plus
