Role Summary: GEM is looking for a strategic Brand Manager to join our team. The ideal person for this position is a brand leader, design thinker, and creative strategist who has scaled brands across different channels. Were looking for someone to leverage data and creative insights (left + right brain) to develop programs that drive awareness, acquisition, retention, and loyalty.

Who You Are:

  • Youve scaled and built brands before ideally in the D2C space
  • You have successfully launched and managed a new product or innovation through its entire life cycle
  • Youre a strategic and creative thinker with a pulse on the latests trends and topics in the CPG space
  • You thrive in a creative, collaborative, test + learn culture
  • You have extraordinary interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) with an exceptional customer first mindset
  • You have excellent project management expertise with the ability to work cross functionally to effectively syndicate and optimize brand across multiple touchpoints with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • You have a passion for health, wellness and food as medicine

    What Youll Do:
    • Architect the future of GEMs brand how it lives, breathes, and grows online and offline, and ensuring that all channels and departments are working towards the same brand visioin
    • Creatively project manage and lead our design teams across all packaging, collateral and offline marketing materials
    • Identify, build and execute brand campaigns with key partners and retail teams to accelerate awareness across the US
    • Manage all offline brand partnerships, specifically seeding GEM products and building relationships with boutique and select distributor partners to develop powerful brand relationships (i.e. hotels, fast casual service, airlines, etc.)
    • Ongoing relationship building (cold/warm calling accounts) to sell in new placements, maintain brand awareness, and review in-store opportunities and programming
    • Partner with the data team to uncover deep consumer insights, leveraging deep understanding of our audiences to create high impact messaging and creative strategies
    • Partner with the growth marketing team on full funnel strategies in pursuit of customer acquisition and growth goals
